Los jóvenes de hoy, se identifiacan y se apropian de la música como un medio para expresar sus ideas, sentimientos , pérdidas, desamores y crean grupos en los cuales comparten esas características. Estos grupos a travçes de los çultimos cincuenta años han cambiado y han evolucionado, desde la çepoca hippie, los punks y como grupo mas característico hoy en día, por todo su extremismo, los darketos. La música hoy en día se ha ultilizado para combatir a los gobiernos, la pobreza, la contaminaciçon y la guerra. La música es un medio con una libertad inmensa que nos permite hablar de cualquier tema y a través de ella expresar nuestro sentir de las cosas, del mundo, de la muerte, la injusticia y todo lo que a ti como persona te hace sentir bien o mal. Y como digo yo: la música es la esencia de la vida. Como ejemplo la letra de una canción me parece habla mucho sobre un conflicto muy grande hace unos años y como U2 trato de hacer ruido sobre este problema con esta canción, a parte de que es uno de mis grupos favoritos.
